Shopping is overflowing before Christmas. Stores are closed and people cannot spend money regularly, but they have helped themselves in other ways: during the quarantine measures imposed by Covid-19, Internet sales increased many times over. Czechs were hooked, discovering home delivery where they could simply put their goods online without having to bother with shopping baskets. The basket fills up quickly! Nothing is easier than sitting in front of the computer and finding your favorite store for groceries, drugstores, electronics, appliances, clothing, etc.
Stores know how to target potential customers. They offer a variety of discounts, and once they sign up, usually on the condition that they subscribe to a nearly weekly newsletter, they then provide information about the discounts again. And the Czechs are very good at asking for discount information. And the merry-go-round continues. You have fallen for the claws – and you don\’t buy it, even though it is so cheap! And maybe you\’re hoarding things you wouldn\’t otherwise buy.
Stop and buy only what you really need or only when it makes you happy. But don\’t force yourself to buy every little thing that doesn\’t satisfy you and just accumulates in your house. One of the charms of online shopping:
As soon as you finish placing your order, a window opens with a message that you can get this and that at a price you can\’t get anywhere else, and at the same time a message flashes on the screen that many customers have bought this item before you, and as if that weren\’t enough, the time begins to count down. Instead of panicking, you become stressed and have to make a decision quickly. Most people will get over it, but there are still customers who fall for the salesman and buy a product they don\’t need, even at the last moment. So be cautious, buy only what you really need and don\’t manipulate yourself. You are the master of the situation, not the online seller.
