It is often assumed that more expensive items taste better, but in fact the opposite is true. Of course, this is not always the case, but there are exceptions. It also depends on the type of store, and not all brands are available. But I can guarantee that the inexpensive options presented in today\’s article will be at least as enjoyable, if not more so.
You are probably familiar with Tic Tacs, these little candies are different flavors in little plastic packages. There\’s mint, fruit, and of course, special editions. Of course there are special editions. But you can buy three packs of the same kind for 15 kronor in Lidl. These candies are called Bliki and taste exactly the same. They are sure to be a big hit with the kids, and for only 5 crowns.
Many children also love lentils. They are a staple that many of us love. The same supermarket chain also offers cheaper options. Sold in almost identically designed packages are the iris. Here, too, you probably won\’t be able to tell the difference.
You can probably already tell a little difference, but Bounty can also be replaced with a candy called Flints. You can get this at several chain stores and even come across some tips. Cheaper but equally good options sound much more appealing.
Speaking of candy, everyone is probably familiar with Nutella. You may have read that these tend to be really expensive and that the ingredients are not very good. This leads to other variations, but here we need to look elsewhere. For the price of Nutella, you can get a really big packet of another hazelnut cream. A variation that tastes better, has a better composition, plus a better price tag, can be found in Germany, but can also be found in the store where you buy it here. It can also be found in Vietnamese retail stores. It looks very typical, with a yellow lid and a small package in the form of a clear cup. In terms of taste, however, there is probably no comparison.
